It seems to be ominously quiet on here over the last week ???

Just seems quiet, no match reports or anything?

Must have better things to do, than sit on here?

Apologies for the lack of a 2nd team match report - I need the score book to complete it!! It is already worth commenting on the performances of two of our younger 'stars', Jim Plant and Danny Douglas who played well above any expectations and at the other end of the scale - veteran Ant Shaw took 5 wickets!
Unfortunately, their stand-out performances were in vain as we lost by one run after a poor batting display - chasing just 118 for victory. I'll take the majority of the blame after a few poor decisions in the field that cost us in the end.

We will be back!

Wrong Funk, there is no 'I' in team therefore...you win as a team and you lose as a team, we all take the blame that we didnt step up to the plate and put in the performances we are capable of!
We will just have to start again tomorrow and work hard and make sure we make up for it this week!
By the way, im slightly worried that younger brother Daniel could potentially be better than me
